The 2017 Wayne Economic Forum was held on October 26th at Shisler Conference Center. The event, presented by the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, features business leaders to offer their insights into their fields and business generally. This year, local business leaders were treated with Matt Voorhees, chief executive officer and co-founder of Anybill Inc.; Marc Byrnes, chairman, Oswald Companies; Robert Gessner, president, MCTV; Sandra Pierce, senior executive VP, Huntington Bank.
The Wayne Economic Forum was founded in January 2013 by a group of business people in Wayne County, Ohio. On the heels of being recognized seven consecutive years as a micropolitan area in the nation for new business growth, county leadership committed to supporting such success by establishing an annual forum of top executives. The speakers offer attendees perspectives and ideas on business challenges and opportunities along with the presenters’ views and analysis of recent economic developments throughout the world.
