The 12th Annual Wayne Economic Forum
The Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce was honored to host the 12th annual Wayne Economic Forum on October 16, bringing together over 300 local and regional business leaders, executives, and changemakers for a day focused on insight, innovation, and economic collaboration.
Established in 2013 through the visionary leadership of then Board Chair Dee Vaidya, the Wayne Economic Forum was created in response to Wayne County's national recognition as a top micropolitan area for business growth and investment. Over the past decade, the Forum has evolved into a premier platform where influential leaders convene to explore emerging business trends, share leadership philosophies, and strengthen regional connections.
This year’s Forum featured an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers, each offering unique perspectives on leadership, innovation, and the future of business:
- Nic Barlage, CEO of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group
- Dee Vaidya, Founder of the Wayne Economic Forum
- Courtney Eaton, President of M7 Holdings
- Dr. John Langell, President of NEOMED (Northeast Ohio Medical University)
The Wayne Economic Forum is more than a single-day event—it is a vital initiative that drives strategic dialogue, fosters leadership development, and supports long-term economic vitality in Wayne County. As we look ahead, the Chamber remains committed to curating spaces that empower professionals to connect, learn, and lead with purpose.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our speakers for their invaluable contributions, to Dee Vaidya for his continued vision and leadership, and to all of our attendees for investing in the growth and success of our community.
Together, we are shaping the future of Wayne County—one conversation, connection, and collaboration at a time.
