For more than 15 years, Samira has been deeply committed to advancing the Wooster/Wayne County community through her leadership and service. Her consistent performance, dedication, and passion for community development led to her historic appointment as the first female President in the organization’s history.

She is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management and a participant in the National Leadership Diversity Program through the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). Samira currently serves on the ACCE Board of Directors and is a mentor through the ACCE NextGen Chamber Leadership Program, where she supports the development of emerging industry leaders.

Samira has been nationally recognized for her professional achievements, including being named to the ACCE’s 40 Under 40 list in both 2020 and 2024. In 2022, she was honored with the Young Professional ATHENA Award, celebrating her leadership and impact in the community.

Locally, she serves on the boards of several organizations, including O’Huddle, Main Street Wooster, Wooster Growth, and the Wayne Economic Development Council. She is also a member of the Leadership Team for Night to Shine Wayne County, volunteers as a mentor with O’Huddle, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Wooster.

Outside of her professional life, Samira’s greatest pride is being a mother. She is deeply involved in her two sons’ lives, showing up with unwavering support, whether it's at the sidelines of a game, helping with homework, or simply being there for the everyday moments that matter most.
