As graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism through the College of Communication and Information, Lindy believes in the power of storytelling to build connections and help businesses thrive. In her new role as Communications & Marketing Manager, she is excited to help amplify the voices of local businesses, celebrate their success, and create meaningful connections throughout the community. She is passionate about helping each business uncover and share its unique story in a way that strengthens relationships, builds community, and supports long-term success.

After graduation, Lindy began her career in marketing right here in Wayne County and quickly found herself falling in love with the Wooster community. Originally from Toledo, she was drawn to the area’s rolling hills, beautiful scenery, strong agricultural roots, and historic small-town charm—and it didn’t take long for Wooster to feel like home.

Outside of her professional life, Lindy is a singer and guitar player with a lifelong love for music. She began her music journey at Kent State as the lead singer of her college band, performing throughout the Kent area. Today, she continues to perform at gigs and beyond while continuing to grow as an artist.

When she’s not working or making music, Lindy enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting with her nephew Harvey, playing volleyball, and staying active through runs and walks on Wayne County’s beautiful trails. And if there’s one thing she never misses—it’s a good sunset.

Lindy is excited to be part of the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to connecting with local businesses, celebrating their stories, and helping the community continue to grow and thrive.
