The Wooster Chamber is honored to present deserving businesses and community members alike, with annual recognition through various prestigious awards. Listed below are the annual awards that are preented at the Chamber Annual Dinner Meeting in the month of January.

Small Business of the Year

Presented annually to a small business for its longevity in the community, positive impact on the local economy, contributions to the community's well being, their concern for the well being of its employees, and support of the chamber.

Wall of Fame Award

Presented annually to an individual(s) for a lifetime of achievement in the Wooster Area. To reward an individual's philanthropic efforts based upon time, energy, and monetary contributions aiding both the business and social environments of the community.

WorthyWorks Award

Presented annually to a local 501(c)3 not-for-profit in recognition of its long lasting commitment to the quality of life in the community and active contributions to the betterment of the community.

Board of Directors Award

Presented annually to an individual or company who has made significant contributions to the Chamber and Community throughout the years. 

Jack O'Donnell Award

Presented annually to an individual in memory of former Chamber President, Jack O'Donnell. In recognition of his or her contributions to the community through volunteerism, enthusiasm, and love for Wooster. 

 

Leadership Wooster Distinguished Alumni Award

Presented annually to a graduate of the Leadership Wooster program who exemplifies the essence of leadership. Selection criteria include leadership roles the nominee has held, organizations participated in, and significant contributions that have been made to enhance the quality of life in the Wooster Area. 

Mike Lezak Award

Presented annually to an individual in memory of former Chamber President, Mike Lezak. In recognition of his or her contributions as a Chamber volunteer by actively participating on committees and activities.
