Your Community Leadership Program

Leadership Wooster is a series of ten day long sessions, each devoted to a key community topic, plus an orientation and a concluding Graduation/Retreat.

Each of the ten topical sessions will consist of an historical overview of the topic, an exploration of the current status and an insight into future needs and demands. Resource people will be those most involved with the topic; and, when possible, direct experiences will be provided

Topics will include the local economy, government, people, human services, the judicial system, education, medical, communications, community organizations and the future.

Participation in Leadership Wooster is open to anyone in the Wooster area who aspires to or has talent for leadership positions in the community, those who want to know more about the community so they can use that knowledge for some form of community service. It also provides new members of our community an opportunity to gain first hand information about their community.

The class will be limited to 30 people chosen from among all those who apply. Tuition is covers all costs connected with the program.

The Leadership Wooster Alumni have started their own organization and each year their numbers grow. They plan community based projects that will involve the alumni class and improve Wooster.
